Fundraising Activities
NEV-DC raises funds through a variety of activities to include penny drives, raffles, and the Honor’s Banquet to support a variety of educational activities.
Dr. Simeon Daniel Education Fund
The Dr. Simeon Daniel Education Fund, so named to honor Nevis' first Premier, provides less fortunate students in Nevis' primary schools with required school supplies, including uniforms and school lunches.
Mr. and Ms. Talented Youth Pageant
In keeping with the social and cultural tenet of the mission statement, NEV-DC has committed to sponsor one school on a rotating basis in the Mr. and Ms. Talented Youth Pageant each Culturama.
Hurricane Relief
Following the devastation of several hurricanes, through a hurricane relief fund, school supplies were provided to several students displaced by the storms.
